Aircraft Reliability Programme
The main goal of the Aircraft Reliability Programme is to ensure the Aircraft Maintenance Programme is effective and adequate while also improving fleet dispatch reliability. This is done in collaboration with Fleet Technical Management and Maintenance Programme & Configuration teams. The programme also supports technical analysis, helping make informed decisions to enhance safety, reliability, and reduce maintenance costs.
Ten Steps for Aircraft Reliability Report Generation
Process Flow for Reliability Report Generation on a Quarterly or Monthly Basis to Ensure Continuous Oversight of Fleet and Component Performance. This process is divided into ten steps.
First Step: Download Parameters & Read Data:
Begin by downloading the required parameters and reading the data.
Second Step: Review Data for Anomalies:
- The reliability engineer examines the data for anomalies.
- If the data is found invalid, restart the process from the First step.
- If the data is valid, proceed to the Third step.
Third Step: Feed Data into Reliability Analysis Tool:
Enter the validated data into the reliability analysis tool for further examination.
Fourth Step: Review Analysis Outcome & Chart:
Assess the results produced by the analysis tool and examine the corresponding charts.
Fifth Step: Compare Monthly or Quarterly vs. Annual Outcomes:
Compare the current month or quarter results with annual trends to identify any inconsistencies or patterns.
Sixth Step: Validate the Outcome:
- If the outcome appears suspect, re-check the data and perform the analysis again from the Third step.
- If the outcome is reliable, proceed to the next step.
Seventh Step: Include Outcome in Reliability Report:
Integrate the validated results into the reliability report.
Eighth Step: Provide Recommendations:
Based on the findings, include appropriate recommendations for improvement or corrective action.
Ninth Step: Submit & Distribute Report:
- Submit the final reliability report.
- Follow the designated distribution list to ensure dissemination to all stakeholders.
Tenth Step: Process Completion:
The reliability report generation process is now complete.
