Certified Aviation Material Management Professional Training Course (CAMMP)
- 3 Levels
- Live Training
Description
Aviation material management is much more than maintaining stock—it directly influences aircraft availability, operational continuity, maintenance cost, regulatory compliance, and overall fleet performance.
The Certified Aviation Material Management Professional (CAMMP) training is a practical, industry-focused program designed to help aviation professionals understand how aircraft materials, rotables, repairs, spare parts, contracts, provisioning, and inventory are managed across airlines, MROs, CAMOs, AMOs, lessors, and other aviation organizations.
The program takes participants through the complete aviation material-management lifecycle—from material classification and repair decisions to provisioning, pooling, rotable administration, aircraft induction, heavy maintenance support, redelivery, and lease compliance.
Unlike a purely theoretical supply-chain course, CAMMP focuses on the operational decisions and practical frameworks used within aviation environments, helping professionals understand how material-management decisions can impact AOG situations, cash flow, repair turnaround time, asset value, and aircraft availability.
Three-Level CAMMP Learning Journey
Level 1 — Material Planning & Repair Management
Understand aviation material classification, including Rotables, Consumables and Expendables; repair-management strategy; Make-vs-Buy decisions; vendor turnaround-time management; and Flight Hour Agreement structures and exclusions.
Level 2 — Repair & Administration of Rotables
Explore spare-parts provisioning using reliability information, RSPL planning, SFE/BFE asset logic, aircraft-induction support, RBTH and CPAL contract models, repair administration, pooling arrangements, on-site support, and Main Base Kit strategies.
Level 3 — Management of Spare Parts in Aviation
Learn how aviation supply-chain teams support aircraft induction and Entry-into-Service, heavy/base maintenance events, aircraft redelivery, documentation and traceability requirements, Back-to-Birth records, and lease-return compliance.
